High School Winter Retreat

High School Winter Retreat

This past weekend our CORE high school students went to Camp Orchard Hill for our annual WinterBlast Retreat. We took 52 students and 14 leaders on this retreat, and it was amazing. We enjoyed various activities including football, hockey, gaga ball, a painting workshop, gym activities, and much more. Our speaker and worship band were absolutely phenomenal and led us in Scripture and song as we learned about God being The Greatest of All Time. There were many in-awe-of-God moments: new students coming and getting connected, students openly admitting they were struggling in their faith and needing accountability, small groups drawing closer together, students and leaders declaring it was the best retreat ever, and many students being willing to step out in faith and radically pursue God when they returned home. For more stories and personal reflections, talk to some of our students; and check out the CORE Facebook page for photos.
