Currently we are working through a series of tough questions submitted by members of our congregation. We have chosen six topics to address on Sunday mornings. However, we received many more than six questions! We will be answering several additional questions here on the website in a blog format.
We spent time at the end of June praying for our students as they were preparing for two major events in July: the Challenge Conference and Camp Orchard Hill. Here are a couple of quick highlights from those events.
Two hours every other week of learning, fellowshipping, and eating with other moms while childcare was provided for my two-year-old sounded fabulous. I signed up, unsure of what it would be like and having not met a single other mom in the group.
If you spend any time around KidStep Ministries this summer, it is likely that you will see a couple of new faces. KidStep is excited to have two summer interns learning and serving alongside our amazing volunteers.
When we take that step to begin to move outside of ourselves and seek God’s will, something begins to happen inside of us. Our hearts are touched; the reality of our faith takes root; we begin to see people in a different way; we see a different meaning to life; we search God’s Word more deeply and personally.
