Our mission is “Joining Children on their Spiritual Journey.” The purpose of KidStep is to intentionally focus on ways that we can help children take next steps of faith from birth through fifth grade.
We welcome your children at 9 and 10:30 AM to an environment that is kid-safe, kid-friendly, and kid-focused. Our vision is to equip volunteers and empower parents to lead the next generation to live and love like Jesus as they take next steps of faith.
Through the gifts and abilities of volunteers, we desire to partner with parents so that each child can grow spiritually, socially, mentally and physically (Luke 2:52).
Each Sunday our volunteers love and care for your children, while building relationships with them through age-appropriate worship, creative Bible teaching, and small groups. For the safety of the children, we have a check-in system that uses parent pick-up tags. Look for our Kids’ Check-In Stations on Sunday mornings to receive your child’s nametags and your parent pick-up tag.
We are excited to join your children on their spiritual journey at KidStep!
Movin’ & Groovin’ Music Camp
Our music camp is for boys and girls ages 3 to 6. Camp will include worship, Bible teaching, breakout sessions on instruments, snacks, and a whole lot of fun! This week will focus on teaching music concepts and on igniting kids’ creative imaginations. Even at an early age children can begin to understand the depth of God’s love for them, and a life of following Jesus can begin to be cultivated.
Camp is June 12-16 from 9:30 to 11:30 AM.
Cost is $15.
Register here. Registration deadline is June 4.
AROMA All-Sports Camp

Campers will learn and play multiple sports in a positive, high-energy environment. Eight different sports will be played throughout the week as well as a Bible teaching time each day.

Child Dedication is an integral part of the life of Hershey Free Church. We value our partnership with parents in joining their children on their spiritual journey. We believe that children are a precious heritage from the Lord (Psalm 127:3) and that the family is a divine institution, God-ordained from the beginning of human history (Genesis 2:24). This gives us great reason to celebrate!
Our child dedication process consists of two classes before the dedication ceremony on Sunday mornings. The first class is designed as an opportunity to discuss the importance of spiritual formation in a child’s life and to support parents as they disciple their children. The second class provides details for the child dedication service. Class attendance is required for parents dedicating children. We provide a special child dedication ceremony included in regular Sunday-morning worship services. In the ceremony, parents declare their intent to raise their children to know, love, and serve the Lord. One of our pastors, dedicates and prays for each child, speaking a Bible verse of the parents’ choosing.
