Frequently Asked Questions

Q: How much does it cost?
A: The photo sitting is free, and every family or single person who sits for a photo will receive one free directory and one free 8 x 10 portrait. At your photo sitting you will have the opportunity to purchase additional photos.

Q: Can I change my appointment time?
A: Yes. Click here to go to Olan Mills’ registration site and sign in using your e-mail address and password that you chose when you signed up. If you forgot your password, click the appropriate box and they will send it to you.

Q: How long will the photo sitting take?
A: It will take less than an hour for the photograph to be taken and for you to choose the pose that you like for the directory.

Q: Our extended family would like to have a generational photo taken. Can we do that?
A: Yes, but you must make a separate appointment for each group (i.e., make one appointment for each nuclear family or single person, and an additional appointment for the generational photo). Make the appointments in successive slots so you don’t have to make another trip. It’s OK if some members of your larger group don’t attend church here, as the generational photo won’t appear in the directory.

Q: Someone from our family is unavailable for a photo sitting because they’re away at college or in the military. Can we submit a photo of them for the directory?
A: First check to see if your family member may be able to visit on one of the available portrait dates, which span four months. If this is impossible, we may be able to include them in a separate “Not Available” section, but there is a cost involved. Call Julian Richter for information: 533-2092, ext. 2018.

Q: My question wasn’t on this list. What do I do?
A: E-mail Julian Richter or phone him at 717-533-2092, ext. 2018.
