While we did a variety of service opportunities like handing out meals and hygiene packets to homeless individuals and helping in a community garden, our time spent in DC was used as a training ground for when the girls would return home and how they can be gospel influencers in their daily spheres of influence by being relationally intentional.
With a trip like this we will not know of the full effect until years from now, but this was a necessary and spiritually strategic experience for the students and leaders. We thank you for your support in prayer and finances. We thank you for your encouragement along the way and for following our adventure on Facebook. What a thrill it is to be with believers seeking to serve our savior and be released from anything that hinders the work of God in our lives.
Something that seems so simple—helping to provide access to things like food and clothing—can make a huge impact in God’s Kingdom.
