Women's Ministries

The purpose of women's ministries is biblical fellowship centered on issues concerning women so that they may "stimulate one another to love and good deeds" (Hebrews 10:24) and be equipped for life, ministry and mission.

Fit 'N Shape
This exercise class, under the direction of Barbara Lambert, is open to any woman in the community. The class consists of an hour of wall and freestanding exercises, a fast-paced portion and floor exercise, all to Christian music. Registration is required prior to each new session. We invite you to come and enjoy fellowship with women who have a common goal to grow spiritually and become physically fit. Phone Barbara Lambert, 566-6502, for more information.

Jeremiah 29:11
This ongoing support group for women focuses on helping them learn how to find strength in God and depend on His resources for coping with chronic pain and chronic fatigue. The group meets the second and fourth Wednesdays of each month from 10 to 11:30 a.m. in Room 30. Write to Laurie Ellsoos or phone 533-4848, for more information.

Meeting Other Moms (MOM)
Designed to minister to the needs of mothers of young children, we have two MOM groups that minister to the mothers of young children. Morning M.O.M. meets the second Thursday of each month during the school year from 9:30 to 11:15 a.m. in the overflow. Child care is available by preregistration with Joni Groff. On the fourth Thursday of each month, Morning M.O.M. plans an activity that includes children. Contact: Suzanne Burton, 534-2076. Evening M.O.M. meets the first and third Tuesdays of each month from 6:45 to 8:45 p.m. in the overflow. Child care is available. Contact: Darice Baird, 566-9709.

MOPS
Mothers of Pre-Schoolers (MOPS) meets twice a month on Thursdays during the school year from 9:30 to 11:15 a.m. in the auditorium. This morning is set aside as a time of fellowship, a speaker, small-group discussion and a craft. Moms must register to attend. Click here to visit the Hershey Free Church's MOPS Web site. Pathseekers Ministry for Widows and Widowers
This ministry seeks to come alongside widows and widowers of all ages and walks of life. Monthly fellowship meetings are held the last Saturday of each month. Write to Laurie Ellsoos or phone Nancy Hoffmann, 367-2468, for more information.

Shepherding Ministry
This ministry assists women in applying biblical principles to recover from spiritual, emotional or relational struggles. For more information, write to Laurie Ellsoos or phone 533-4848.

Woman to Woman Mentoring
Woman to Woman Mentoring is an intentional, spiritual network of women post-high school and older. Pairs of women commit to a designated timeframe to be a lifestyle testimony for the glory of God. This is not another program, or another "night of the week," but a life process in which women encourage one another in their faith and life experiences as listeners, encouragers and role models. Women's Morning Fellowship
Women of the church gather in a large group for study of a Bible topic, then split into small groups for discussion and prayer. Women's Morning Fellowship meets on Tuesdays from 9:15 to 11:30 a.m. during the school year and takes a break during the summer. Women's Evening Fellowship
Designed for women who are not available to attend daytime programs because of work schedules or other responsibilities, Women's Evening Fellowship meets Wednesdays from 7 to 8:30 p.m. in room 10 during the school year.
