Our Finance Administrator, Martha Phillips, will be leaving staff. Martha has accepted a position as a personal assistant to her sister in California. The Phillips family will continue to reside in Palmyra, and Martha will be working remotely as well as regularly traveling to and from California. Martha’s last day on staff will be August 2. We appreciate all of Martha’s dedication and work over the past four and a half years. She has brought a bright smile and warm personality to the finance position. Pray for Martha and her family as they take this next step together.

The position of Finance Administrator will be filled internally by Suzanne Herr, who has held the position in the past and who will be transitioning from a role in the Communications Department. In turn, the Communications Department is currently looking for an Administrative Assistant (20 hours/week). This individual must be proficient in the areas of proofreading and editing (including grammar, punctuation, and style-branding). In this position, the Administrative Assistant must have an eye for the big picture while ensuring that accurate information is communicated in a timely manner. This person will collaborate with team members to brainstorm creative responses to communication needs and will use Adobe software (InDesign, Photoshop, Illustrator). Flexibility in an ever-changing environment is a key asset.
