The Struggle is Real

The Struggle is Real

If your life is complicated right now, you may be wondering—why me? And if you are a Christ follower, you may feel the added weight of failure, disappointment and discouragement. After all, doesn’t being a Christian mean that I’m to live as an “overcomer”?

In this series, The Struggle Is Real, we will address some of the realities that complicate our lives—issues that can turn our lives upside down. As a church community, we don’t want to overlook these issues or pretend that they don’t affect us. Instead, we want to engage these topics with the hope of the gospel. Remember that everyone struggles; therefore, you are not alone and you do not have to hide. And the gospel meets us in our struggle; so there is hope.

Sermon Topics:

October 20 – Family Dynamics
October 27 – Lust
November 3 – Anxiety and Depression
November 10 – Abuse
November 17 – Gender and Identity
