Connect Groups

Women’s Groups

Our Women’s Ministries connect opportunities are designed to not only teach but also encourage and equip the women of our church to move out into their communities and make an impact for Christ. We want all women to know that they are a part of community of believers. We want to walk with you, challenge you and support you as God moves in your life and heart.

Tuesday Morning Women’s Connect meets from 9:30 to 11:30 AM in the auditorium, beginning September 17. Light refreshments are provided, and limited childcare is available for a fee. We will be starting the fall by studying the book of 1 Peter.

Wednesday Evening Women’s Connect meets from 7 to 8:30 PM in room 10, beginning September 18. The first study for the fall will be Raised Together: A Study of Colossians by Gloria Furman. The study focuses on learning who Christ is, who we are in him, and how to grow and mature in our faith.

Moms Connect provides an environment for mothers of preschoolers to grow in their faith and be encouraged, challenged, and equipped as women, wives, and mothers in the name of Jesus Christ. It also gives opportunity for them to connect with other moms, share mothering ideas and suggestions, and be guided by mentor mothers’ wisdom and experience. Moms Connect meets every second and fourth Wednesday from 9:30 to 11:15 AM in the auditorium, beginning September 11. Limited childcare is available for a fee. Contact Tiffany Dark regarding possible openings for Moms Connect.

Men’s Groups

The purpose of Men’s Connect is to equip men to be Christ-centered leaders at home, work, church, and in their communities. We seek to provide ways for men to grow in their faith. We hope to encourage husbands, fathers, and sons as they walk their journey of faith.

Tuesday Morning Men’s Connect meets from 6 to 7 AM in the Core Cafe, beginning September 10. Breakfast is provided, and there is small group discussion centered on various topics.

Thursday Evening Men’s Connect meets from 7 to 8:30 PM in room 401 every first and third Thursday, beginning September 5. The first study for the fall will be No More Excuses by Tony Evans. This video series examines the struggles men face and how those struggles become the tools that God uses to make us better men for tomorrow.

Adult Groups

Precepts is an inductive Bible Study where members have the opportunity to fellowship and engage with one another while deepening their walk with Christ. We meet Tuesdays from 9:30 to 11:30 AM in room 10. We will begin our fall session on September 10, and our first study will be about the Sermon on the Mount. Get a deeper understanding of the fruit and security that come with righteousness in the life of a true believer.

Senior Adult Bible Fellowship offers an opportunity monthly for fellowship around God’s Word and through worship using some familiar hymns. The Bible Fellowship meets the first Wednesday of each month from September through June at 10:45 AM in the auditorium, followed by lunch at noon.

Senior Adult Strength Training (Band Together) uses stretch bands of various tensions to help those with limited mobility to regain and maintain strength and flexibility. Please note that anyone over age 70 will need to have their doctor’s clearance to participate. Strength training is held every week on Monday and Thursday, 11 AM to 12 PM in room 10. Questions? Sunday Connect

We know that attending a new place can be intimidating, and it is our strong desire to help you form connections and relationships at Hershey Free. Our Sunday Adult Connect Groups are a great place to start. These groups meet every Sunday morning and are a great way to begin to get to know a smaller group of people and study God’s Word together. The classes meet during the 9 and 10:30 AM services, so it is possible to attend a group and worship on Sunday morning.

They are based on life stages. We have groups for college-aged, millennials, parents, adults, and senior adults.
