Get Connected

Would you like to explore some of life’s big questions? Why are we here on earth? What does God have to do with my daily life? How can I understand the Bible? Perhaps you should try Alpha! Alpha is a series of sessions exploring the basics of the Christian faith. During a ten-week timeframe, each session looks at a different question about faith; and each session is designed to create conversation. It’s an open, informal, and honest space to explore and discuss life’s big questions together. Click here for more information.

Women’s Groups

Our Women’s Ministries connect opportunities are designed to not only teach but also encourage and equip the women of our church to move out into their communities and make an impact for Christ. We want all women to know that they are a part of community of believers. We want to walk with you, challenge you and support you as God moves in your life and heart.

Tuesday Morning Women’s Connect meets from 9:30 to 11:30 AM in the auditorium. Light refreshments are provided, and limited childcare is available for a fee. Our new series started Tuesday, January 14, which is the church-wide study of LOVE THIS BOOK: Meeting God In His Story.

Wednesday Evening Women’s Connect meets from 7 to 8:30 PM in room 10. Our winter series began Wednesday, January 15, and is on the church-wide study of LOVE THIS BOOK: Meeting God In His Story.

Moms Connect provides an environment for mothers of preschoolers to grow in their faith and be encouraged, challenged, and equipped as women, wives, and mothers in the name of Jesus Christ. It also gives opportunity for them to connect with other moms, share mothering ideas and suggestions, and be guided by mentor mothers’ wisdom and experience. Moms Connect meets every second and fourth Wednesday from 9:30 to 11:15 AM in the auditorium. Limited childcare is available for a fee. Contact Moms Connect leadership regarding possible openings for Moms Connect.

Men’s Groups

The purpose of Men’s Connect is to equip men to be Christ-centered leaders at home, work, church, and in their communities. We seek to provide ways for men to grow in their faith. We hope to encourage husbands, fathers, and sons as they walk their journey of faith.

Tuesday Morning Men’s Connect meets from 6 to 7 AM in the Core Cafe. Breakfast is provided, and there is small group discussion centered on various topics.

Thursday Evening Men’s Connect meets from 7 to 8:30 PM in room 401 every first and third Thursday. Men’s Connect will utilize various speakers through the spring term. Topics will vary by the speaker, but will be focused on “Becoming a Better Man of God.” There will be no book or video.

Senior Adult Groups

Senior Adult Bible Fellowship offers an opportunity monthly for fellowship around God’s Word and through worship using some familiar hymns. The Bible Fellowship meets the first Wednesday of each month from September through June at 10:45 AM in the auditorium, followed by lunch at noon. The spring session will begin February 5.

Senior Adult Strength Training (Band Together) uses stretch bands of various tensions to help those with limited mobility to regain and maintain strength and flexibility. Please note that anyone over age 70 will need to have their doctor’s clearance to participate. Strength training is held every week on Monday and Thursday, 11 AM to 12 PM in room 302. Questions? Sunday Connect

We know that attending a new place can be intimidating, and it is our strong desire to help you form connections and relationships at Hershey Free. Our Sunday Adult Connect Groups are a great place to start. These groups are a great way to begin to get to know a smaller group of people and study God’s Word together. They are based on life stages and average 20 to 50 people. The classes meet during the 9 and 10:30 AM services, so it is possible to attend a group and worship on Sunday morning.
