Alpha is a series of sessions that focuses on different questions around faith and is designed to create conversation. As a church, we know the importance of being together and building friendships. We also believe that one of the best ways you can learn about Christianity, explore some of life’s deep questions, and discover things about faith in Jesus is by being with other people asking questions. Alpha is an opportunity to hear from others and contribute your perspective in an honest and open environment. Our next Alpha session will take place in the fall. If you have any questions about faith, Christianity, or just need someone to talk to before Alpha begins, contact Dave Hyatt or phone 717-533-4848.
Our Women’s Ministries connect opportunities are designed to not only teach but also encourage and equip the women of our church to move out into their communities and make an impact for Christ. We want all women to know that they are a part of community of believers. We want to walk with you, challenge you and support you as God moves in your life and heart. Our Women’s Groups will begin to meet again in the fall.
The purpose of Men’s Connect is to equip men to be Christ-centered leaders at home, work, church, and in their communities. We seek to provide ways for men to grow in their faith. We hope to encourage husbands, fathers, and sons as they walk their journey of faith. Our Men’s Groups will begin meeting again in the fall.
Senior Adult Groups
Senior Adult Strength Training, Band Together, is a group that uses stretch bands of various tensions to help those with limited mobility to regain and maintain strength and flexibility. Please note that anyone over age 70 will need to have their doctor’s clearance to participate. Strength training is held every week on Mondays and Thursdays from 11 AM to 12 PM in room 302. For more information, email Craig Koskela or call 717-533-2092, ext. 2028.
We know that attending a new place can be intimidating, and it is our strong desire to help you form connections and relationships at Hershey Free. Our Sunday Adult Connect Groups are a great place to start. These groups are a great way to begin to get to know a smaller group of people and study God’s Word together. They are based on life stages and average 20 to 50 people. The classes meet during the 9 and 10:30 AM services, so it is possible to attend a group and worship on Sunday morning.
Sunday Connect Groups will begin meeting on Sunday, January 10.
