Easter Week

It’s possible to summarize the Gospel of Mark in two words: “follow me.” Mark begins by stating his conclusion in the opening verse. He is writing about the “good news” of Jesus, who is the Messiah. In January, we embarked on a journey discovering what it looks like to follow Jesus. This journey culminates on Easter Sunday. Mark asks each of us to wrestle with the question, “What will you do with Jesus?” Mark invites us into the storyline of history. We are invited to follow Jesus and be a part of his ongoing mission.

Easter Services

Good Friday, April 19 | 7 PM | Sanctuary
Saturday Easter Service, April 20 | 7 PM | Sanctuary
Sunday, April 21 | 8 AM | Auditorium
Sunday, April 21 | 9 AM and 10:30 AM | Sanctuary

It is important to take time during this season to stop and reflect—to remember what Christ did for us and in us. If we’re honest, we can see Easter as a Sunday celebration and miss the depth of what it means in our lives beyond Sunday.

Welcome to our Easter Experience, a sacred-space experience designed to provide you with a meaningful, prayerful, and thoughtful environment that allows you to hear God’s voice and respond to him in love.

There is a guided booklet available to direct you as you walk through the rooms. As a church, we have been going through the Gospel of Mark since January, and our Easter Experience is a continuation of that journey. This year’s theme is “Follow in the Dust of the Rabbi.” As you move through each of the rooms, imagine yourself following in the footsteps of Jesus. The Easter Experience begins in room 304.
