Connect Groups

We know that attending a new place can be intimidating, and it is our strong desire to help you form connections and relationships at Hershey Free. Our adult Connect Groups are a great place to start. This is a great way to begin to get to know a smaller group of people and study God’s Word together.

We have Connect Groups for women, moms, men, young adults, parents, senior adults, and creatives. We invite you to check out more information about each of these groups. Also look over our latest Connect Brochure. For groups that require registration, you can register at our central hub:

Live/Love/Lead Groups

The invitation of Jesus is to become his disciple and follow his way of life. At Hershey Free Church, we define it this way: A disciple is someone who lives with Jesus, loves like Jesus, and leads others to do the same. What does this look like? One way we live out our value of living, loving, and leading is to encourage you to be intentional with your personal relationship with God. As you learn to live with Jesus by developing spiritual rhythms and listening to God, your life will overflow into the lives of those around you. Because we value doing life together, we encourage you to participate in a Live/Love/Lead Group. These groups are designed to facilitate engagement in community with God and one another in a way that fosters life transformation.

Twice a year we have Starter Live/Love/Lead groups which meet several times and give you an opportunity to test out this group experience. Our next Starter Live/Love/Lead group enrollment will begin Sunday, February 9 at 6 PM in the Core Cafe. There you can meet other people from your area and experience what it’s like to be in a group. Questions? Contact Deb Hinkel or Nik Schatz.

Our vision at Hershey Free is to develop and promote a strong culture of connectedness and service among our community. Throughout Scripture we are shown how serving and living a connected life benefits the entire body of Christ. As we grow in our faith, we see the value in serving others. Sometimes, the biggest hurdle is knowing where to start. What is available? If you need help finding your best place to serve, we would love to explore these opportunities with you. Let us know you are interested in finding out about serving opportunities.

Do you want to know more about Hershey Free Church? Do you have questions about how to get connected or what we believe? Our Membership Class is designed to answer your questions and help you make an informed decision about committing to making Hershey Free your home church. Our Membership process involves attending two classes and sharing your faith story in a small group setting.

Would you like to explore some of life’s big questions? Why are we here on earth? What does God have to do with my daily life? How can I understand the Bible? Perhaps you should try Alpha! Alpha is a series of sessions exploring the basics of the Christian faith. During a ten-week timeframe, each session looks at a different question about faith; and each session is designed to create conversation. It’s an open, informal, and honest space to explore and discuss life’s big questions together. Click here for more information.
